HELP!! the steps involved in Single Click

Post by roadkill »

Ok what is going on here?

am i right, install the server and viewer on the professional machine?

send the client the .exe file that holds ip of the professional router and port number.

get the client to open .exe file, this then makes connection to professional machine.

on the professional machine have the viewer in listen mode - "what ip address do i put here?"

connection should then be made right? wrong!!

any advice would be helpfull.

ps.. port forward has been configured.

you really should be able to just put the viewing machine in listen mode and if you use the default ports there is an icon listed for it.

I would take a look at pchelpware www.pchelpware.com it is the next generation of Single Click

(Bevtech) are there any tests i can run on my computer to see if the thing works?

i have a dynamic ip, but i change the ip of the exe to mach the router ip, but it still doesnt work!!

i think theres a problem with the ports: i run a port-check and it tells me that the ports i have opend are actually closed?
