Problems with Ultra VNC+DSM plugin

I have ultra VCN server (win 2000) and the viewer runs over WIn XP. DSM file (dsm_no reg) is in both folders (server and viewer), and so the same rc4.key file.

However, i can´t connect, I received a message like this: "the dsm file on the sever and on the viewer are not compatible" and so on.

Anybody can help me?. Thanks.

do you have the dsm plugin indentical on both sides??

Do you use classical or mslogon authenication??


I would upgrade the dsm plugin to the newest version and try it..

I have the latest version of ultra vnc and plugins, and the same dsm file (msrc..._no reg.dsm) in both sides (server and viewer) and in the same folder (c:\program files\ultravnc\). I´ve distributed the rc4.key to the computers in the same directory too.

I´m using ms logon authentication

The plugin is only the dsm file? do I need another file or folder?

The problem is solved. I´ve just checked and re-generate the rc4.key file and all is OK.
