Repeater as a service

Post by CFrancey »

Hi,

My question : How can I make to run my repeater as a service on a Win2000 server ?

It is not very well to have all the time a opened session to use PCHelp !!!

Thanks for your reponse.

In testing the beta version, Rudi (the developer) has advised the method to run repeater as service. His instruction was as below:
Rudi De Vos wrote:The repeater can run as service, the only problem is that running
as service you don't have the tray icon.
You need to make all settings in application mode.

repeater.exe -install
repeater.exe -uninstall
After you run (-install) you need to activate the service via the
service manager, or reboot.

The service name is ultravnc_....
I believe this s/b applicable to PHW 1.0 too. Please try.
