SC/Viewer and encryption using MSRC4Plugin.dsm

Post by Matador2k7 »

Hello all!

At first, congrat everybody involved in the UltraVNC project for their impressive work. You're the best man!

Now to my problem:
I want to use UVNC SC with an encrypted connection using the MSRC4Plugin.dsm. Creating the SC exe file isn't any problem. The problem I am having now is that when I start the VNC Viewer in listening mode using the DSM Plugin, when I minimize it to tray (by clicking the close button) the DSM Plugin option turns off. I'd like to turn it always ON. Using the command line option (vncviewer -listen -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin.dsm) seems to work fine but there has to be a problem between server and viewer because the connection can´t be established due to the DSM Plugin.
All I did was generating a new RC4 key, which I included in my custom.zip file and in the vncviewer directory %programfiles%\UltraVNC.

Another question: Where's the difference between the MSRC4Plugin.dsm and the MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm?

Thanks in advance and keep up that great work!

Check this post. Pay attention to step #5 about renaming plug in.

None of the links work there,
plus it doesn't mention which online compiler to use, nor where it is.

It also doesn't mention which version of UltraVNC is compatible.

For me UVNC 1.02 didn't work anymore with SC. I have no idea why.

Could someone update the SC compiler code so that it will work with the newest UltraVNC viewer again?
