Ability to Disable File Transfer.

Post by smcmanus »

Hello Everybody, I have a question/suggestion.
1) Can File trasnfer be diabled for a Client? (I believe the answer is no)
2) Can a Option be added to disable, it on the Admin Properties window.

Here is the reasoning. I can set up the VNC viewer to be accessed with Read only, I can disable Inputs on the Client side, I can limit the Client Viewing area to a Window of my choosing. But If for example I wanted to set up a Computer for remote Demontration purposes I can not stop them for just accessing all files on the PC.

Addendum: This is for the Java client, even though there is a option to disable File transfer. It is still enabled. (with the server{1.02}, as a NON-service.)

Same question here -- did you get an offline response, or figure this out? Thanks.
