sc and linux

hi,
is there a way to use sc with any vnc-client working on linux?
i want to administrate windows xp pc, but ultravnc won't work with wine.

Actually, I'm running VNC Viewer in Wine for over a year with little problems (sometimes if it crashes out, the remaining Wine processes aren't cleaned up). I also use the Linux repeater (which sometimes needs to be restarted).

But other than that, it *would* be nice to have the ID field available for vncviewer for Linux so we didn't *have* to use Wine... Last time I saw, it didn't have that functionality. :(
