Hi,
i just got a Bluescreen short after the WinXP progressbar
with the errmsg vncdrv.dll 0x008E
so i uninstalled ultravnc but the error happens again.
So my question is:
how can i securely uninstall the videodriver?
i looked in "Software" and "System>DeviceManager"
but i didnt found anything about that.
My next try was to rename vncdrv.dll > then i had only a 16Color 640x480 view
Who can help me?
My Components are:
ASUS A8V-VM / ASUS 7300LE TOP-HTD / WinXPProSP1

I had the same problem. I am using a ASUS 7900GT Top. After uninstalling the following programmes everything worked fine again:
- ASUS SmartDoctor
- ASUS Game Live Show
- ASUS Enhanced Display Driver
(all other graphic card utilities still installed)
Finally it did solve the problem i uninstalled all ATI/ASUS software and only installed the driver program with Catalyst and now it works. atkdisp.dll is removed of the system32. Thanks a lot!
You can remove vncdrv.sys (system32/drivers), this disable the vncdrv

I had similar problem with Asus EN7600GT and mirror driver.
