Hi All,
I need to connect to work from home, but is using classic authentication a bad idea? (even with one of the DSM plugins?)
I'm having trouble using the MSII (new) logon. I'm not part of a domain and can't seem to create one.
Thanks very much

NEWBIE - How secure is classic authentication?
Re: NEWBIE - How secure is classic authentication?
As soon as you use MSRC4 plugin with key file the classical authentication is secure, because the plugin key file is the real "strong" additional authentication.

server: not possible to use mslogon II on XP Home feature limited from factoryI'm having trouble using the MSII (new) logon. I'm not part of a domain and can't seem to create one.
VNC password or MS logon I only work on vnc server over XP Home
VNC password should not match anyway of user account password.
otherwise, authentication always fail.
