Repeater needed

Post by slam5 »

Hi, I am in Vancouver Canada and my bro is in San Fran. I am on static IP on cable and my bro is on a dyn ip via Comcast. Do I need a repeater? Also, can I configure his server so that it will only be viewed from my ip address.. Is there a tutorial on this? Thx!

Hi,
Did you read this topic: [topic=4606][/topic]
I'm not very experienced SC UVNC user, but it seems to be good solution.
I've made my own sc.exe (using off-line creator) and it works from different locations well. IMHO fact that your bro has dynamic IP shouldn't be a problem if you have a static IP couse he'll initiate connexion to your IP which will be added to sc.exe.
So, prepare sc.exe, send it by e-mail to your bro and thats all.
Consider to use some encryption plugin (MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm or other) for security reason.
Let me know if it'll be works.

P.S What about Stanley Park? Is it still in place?
