Repeater|SC issue.

We recently set up a Repeater/SC setup for a remote technical support solution here at my work. I was the leader of this project and was able to make it work for so long. Then it suddenly stopped working and after looking into the settings, the only thing we changed was on the repeater. It said to set the restrict to ports to 0 for Mode 2 which we use. We set it back to 1, and all is well. Can somebody please decribe what the option actually does? From the documentation on the site, (which most of is very very horrid and are in dire need of updating), it tells us that it needs to be set literal to a port that we want to restrict the server to running on. From what I read on the repeater, 0 means that it allows usage of all ports, and 1 says to restrict the ports used to the ones set in the repeater. Can somebody shed some light?

The online docs do need some updating.. But there are so few of us that it will take some time..
