Hi!!
I have installed VNC as service, with the hook driver, and is super ! But, I will use my server without monitor. As the Server comes up, of course not finding a monitor, he think is a standard and I become in my client a 640 x 480 resolution.. Hoy can I change this ?
Server OS is W2k, client OS is XP.
Thank you!!
Rodolfo.

VNC as service without monitor: resolution VGA :-(
Go into screen properties - settings - advanced - monitor - properties - driver - update driver - No, not this time - next - Install from a list or specific location (advanced) - next - Don't search, I will choose the driver to install - next - uncheck "show compatible hardware" - (standard monitor types).
In the right pane you can choose a lot of different resolutions. You may actually pick any other vendor than (standard monitor types) if you wish.
Good night, and good luck
