Interface customising?

Hi all,
First post after a weekend of experiments.

I have ultravnc working on both LAN and WAN,and
have built the sc exe.

It is working and now I want to customise it.

Questions.

For remote assistance, how risky is it to go without encryption?

Also, on the connection window of sc, how can I remove the "TEXT"

boxes? I have just filled them with anything ,but would like
to go without them and just have "Connect" and "Stop".

Thanks in advance for any tips for an addicted newcomer.

PS. The RSS version is great if you had enough demand to
purchase it.
