[viewer] Why is it listening on TCP 5400?

Post by fredtheman »

Hi

I see that when the viewer is launched with /listen, it listens on ports TCP 5500 and 5400.

I understand 5500 is the default port for WinVNC so need to add port forwarding on the router to let servers connect in, but what about 5400? Do I need this too?

Thx
Fred.

This has been answered already. :)

Search this list for "5400". One of the five entries starts with "Bug, old bug..." and explains in detail.
