Protocol problem?

I've just downloaded and setup Ultr@vnc. To test it I installed the server on my desktop machine and the viewer on my laptop. Laptop connects to the internet via wireless network using a shared connection on the desktop. All worked perfectly, and does so every time.

Now the problem: I connected the laptop to the internet, as I do when out of the office, via my GPRS mobile phone. Internet connection fine, but when I run the viewer it onlt gets as far as Negotiate Protocol and then eventually returns an error window "Error reading protocol version". I've not been using the DSM plugin.

Any ideas on this problem would be appreciated!

I have the same problem with a couple of laptops that talk to each other via a local wireless LAN. Same message....but the system just sits there on the negotiating protocol for several minutes before giving up.. Using WPA PSK encryption on Wireless LAN.
