MSLOGON working with all flavours of Windows

Post by philodox »

The title pretty much says it all. I would like to be able to use the MSLOGON feature with Windows 9x as my environment still has some legacy computers that need remote support. I have also heard that there is a problem using MSLOGON with Windows NT. I have been very impressed by the implementation of this in Windows 2000 and XP. If this was extended to Windows 9x and NT it would be exactly what we need.

Thanks,

.philodox.

Thanks for your encouraging words regarding W2K and WinXP.
With the new version (see [post=1981][/post]) this should also work with WinNT.
I'm not sure if it's possible to extend this to Win9x since there is no security infrastructure in these OSs.
But you can always use the "old" MS-Logon on Win9x.
