SC error RFB 003.016

Hello,

I have done a search and found out that my error RFB 003.016 is a protocol used by UVNC but nothing else.

I am testing my SC from the office (XP Pro SP2 ports and firewall open) to home (XP Home & 98 SE). SC is in the office and the Viewer in listen 5900 mode is at home.

When I have a worker in the office click on the connection line in SC the screen at home that is running the viewer gets a black border around it with RFB 003.016 in large letters on top. It will stay up for only a second or so then back to a normal screen.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Hello

Testing SC without compiling:

I did read the information but was unable to get it to work.

When I execute winvnc.exe from my SC folder all I get is the normal U VNC. It does not show any SC screen. (It must be me)


Compiling:

I have compiled the helpdesk.zip file with each of the two programs at
http://sc.uvnc.com/index.php?section=19. They both give me the same error that is listed in my first message.

I am realy stuck at this point I hope someone can help.

replace the old winvnc by actual winvnc

Thank you for the link. That got SC running without compiling. BUT I am still getting the same error. The helpdesk.txt looks very simple so I do not see where the problem can be.

Could the problem be on the viewer -listen side?
