[SC + DSM Plugin] Impossible to set a port!

Post by olix »

Hello!

I have a problem with Single Click and the DSM Plugin. When my friend connects to my PC with Single Click, the port defined in my Status Window is never the same. A time 1890, a time >2000... I'd like to set the port to 800 because I live in France and some French Internet Providers limit the bandwidth for the ports > 1024.

My custom.exe has benn definined as follows:

Code: Select all

[HOST]
Assistance à distance (connexion cryptée 128 bits)
-plugin -connect depannage.selfip.net::800 -noregistry
But it doesn't work. The viewer seems to choose itself the port.

How can I set the connexion port to 800?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Olivier, from France.

How about using a repeater??
your helpdesk.txt does look correct.

I do recall reading a post stating that .net hosts for some reason are not recognized.. I would try using the IP address instead.. or setup a dynamic dns host name without a .net extension..;)
