Viewing Java-based Applications on UltraVNC Server

Post by QuillerWRX »

Hello, I'm having an issue viewing Java-based applications on an UltraVNC server (W2K) using either the UltraVNC client or the Java Viewer. The problem is that the Java application’s windows on the server are covered with cross-hatches making it very difficult to see what I’m clicking on. The funny thing is that when I close the UltraVNC client once the Java Apps were opened on the server and then reopen the client the java windows are then a lot clearer with significantly less cross-hatching making me think it’s some kind of client auto-detect issue. I don’t have this problem with any other applications on the server, only ones that use Java.

I thought that the enabling the “Capture Alpha-Blending” or installing the “Video Hook Driver” might help, but both configurations were unsuccessful. Can you tell me if there is a way to configure my client or the server to be more efficient at displaying java apps? Thanks in advance!
