Maximum resolution client can connect to....

Post by JohnAStark »

I have created an Xvnc session on my Linux box with a very high resolution - 10Kx10K. I would like to connect to and use this with my XP box running the latest UltraVNC viewer - but the viewer crashes during the creation of the initial screen. Is there a resolution limitation? And if so, what is it (can be expressed in bytes of allocated memory, if need be, I can figure out what the max is from that)....
