SC Open than Closes/Quits

Post by Guest »

I click accept on the Server and something flashes on the Client then SC closes and nothing happens. I have open ports and the program on both ends.

UPDATE:
Sorry guys I think it will work out better if i registered and I think I had the client server thing backwards. Ok when I click Accept on the Client Side nothing happens and on the Server Side a screen pops up very quickly and disappears and nothing happens. I have open the program on both sides and the port 5500 which I manually assigned on both sides.

Are you trying it in a local lan at first to make sure that it is working..??

Sorta sounds like the VNC SC can not find your Ip.
If using a router you have to open port 5500.

If using a router then you either have to have a static Ip or be using a dynamic Ip hosting service because your ip will change..:)
