There is no plugin API in the java viewer. The plugins won't work with it.

The only think that will be encrypted will be the password, and that is using a weak encryption.

DMS for web browser

Post by Eddie »

Does anyone know if it is possable to use any encryption for a web browser as i was using the browser to access my computer yesterday and saw it was not encrypted. i have looked at using the DMS encryption method and it will be fine for the viewer but i cannot always use a viewer.

Just wondering if there was any updates on this? I would like to use the DSM plugin or some secure way that is simple for end users to be able to login to their work computers from home or on the road using a browser.

Thanks!

I use SSL Explorer from work all the time. My client's firewall is VERY restrictive, only 80/443 get out. With SSL Explorer I can establish an SSL Encrypted VPN to my home machine and tunnel anything through it, including UltraVNC. No plugin needed.

SSL Explorer includes UltraVNC out of the box now. No configuration needed. Take a look at it. Good stuff!
