UltraVNC Viewer command line problems with color

Post by rringen »

Hi,
I have a problem while using these command line parameters:

Code: Select all

vncviewer.exe -connect 192.168.0.100:5900 -password "abcdefg" -noauto -autoscaling -64colors
The result is, that the VNC Viewer connects (password accepted), but after a while it said: "Connection dropped, trying to recconect (3)". After this it tries to recconnect, but it does not work.
If I drop the -64colors command line parameter it works like a charm. I have also tried

Code: Select all

-8colors
and

Code: Select all

-256colors
with the same result.
In a very old version it worked as expected, but sorry, I could not say which one without investing much time, because we used the old version and now the PC was broken and the software was reinstalled with the fresh version.

Have you updated the command line parameters? Or did I anything wrong?
I have tested this also with 3 different machines (1 host and 2 VMs)
