Securevncplugin configuration

Post by Digi »

Not sure if this is expected behavior of the product or not, and I’m not sure if this is the best way to communicate this..

However,

When I am in the securevncplugin configuration page and I click on the “Website” button

It redirects me to random different pages, including one of those “warning, warning.. your computer is infected pages…

What page should this button connect you to? I imagine this was from an advertisement - however it’s a little disconcerting

Just thought you should know and see if anyone else noticed the behavior.

It looks like the website of the plugin creator (adamwalling.com) is not more maintained and replaced with adware.

Request: remove the "Website" button from the plugin-settings page, or replace it with his Github link (https://github.com/adamwalling), if possible.
