authentification Failed

Hello,
hope somebody can help me..
I have UVNC running on serveral systems in my network. current version is 1.3.2a on the two systems (Both Windows 10 x64 but the target seems Win10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB) where I just have trouble.
I had UVNC in version 1.2.4 in the past running on these two sysems, but today it did not work, so I tried a lot and also uptraded to the lastest version.

i start my viewer, try to connect (either via system name or IP).
But then ther first strange thing is coming up:
I get a message, that the connection would be unencrypted. But I have enabled encryption on both sides.
I can still continue, but then I get the error message "Authentification failed from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" (IP where I started the viewer).
Password is correct and serveral times updated and simplified..
If I disable encryption on my System where I start the viewer, I do not get the encrpytion message, but still the connection fails.

I disabled the windows firewall.

What is also strange:
If I change something in the VNC server admin setting I do not get an UAC confirmation request. This is the case on all other systems where I have UVNC installed.
I checked the log file and found several entries that point to c:users\rudi .... but there is no user "rudi" on this system...

I noticed in the log that you have multiple servers running.
on 5900 and 5901
Try connecting to both to see if this makes a difference.
Possible you are updating server A and connecting to server B

The path you see is the path at compile time.
c:\users\rudi\desktop\git_ultravnc\winvnc\winvnc\winvnc.cpp
Is the location at my PC

Stop
net stop uvnc_service

You can copy a working version, all files are portable including the config.
If you copy the content from a working pc ( program files..) and extract it on that pc it should work.

verify in no multiple winvnc.exe exist on that PC something is uning port 5900

thanks for the feedback!
this helped, and maybe I know what was going on...
I installed a software update on this system. and it looks like the vendor of the software did add a tight vnc server.
so now I had ultra VNC and the tight vnc as server running. I changed now ultra VNC to another port and it look it is working not to access the ultra VNC server (I did not touch the other one).
I still got the message about unecrypted connection .. not sure why.
But I use this anyhow just in the internal network, so I think this is not really critical.
