Testing Connection

Post by Guest »

I am trying to configure my SC. I have forwarded port 5500 on my router to my desktop (winxp). In my helpdesk.txt file I have the :

-connect router ip:5500

I get nothing when I run SC from the other computer. Could this be because it is inside my network.

When I run Ultravnc server on that computer my viewer sees it fine.

I had this working before on a different router. Do I need to forward different ports?

Thanks

Timb

I think your new router don't let you contact external address from internal network back to internal network or is a misspelling or dynamic dns not updated
