SC with fqdn instead of IP?

I would like to set up my SC listener on a machine that has a dynamic public IP address. I have already set up a service (dyn.com) so that I can resolve a fqdn to the current IP. Can I specify the fqdn in place of an IP address for connect in Custom.zip?
