Impossible to browse "Network Shortcut" targets?

Greetings,

I'm a 1.2.2.4 (30-3-2019 release) user and i was wondering if it is possible to browse "Network Shortcut" targets.
I am using UVNC's File Manager and whenever i navigate to the location "Network Shortcut" i often see subfolders with a desktop.ini and target.lnk in it which can't be accessed.

Is there a way to access these type of remote shortcuts or is this (currently) a limitation (by design)?

PS: regular network shares/drives can be accessed just fine.
