How to use encryption

Post by Rudi De Vos »

1) Simple
Just select the plugin on server and viewer site, the standard vnc password is used

2) Long Password
Set the passphrase, this is now the password you need to enter on in the viewer

3) Heavy encryption
You don't need to enter a password, but only the viewer with the correct key can connect
Generates key and save them in the server folder
In this case 20190108_Server_ClientAuth.pubkey is the server key
and 20190108_Viewer_ClientAuth.pkey is the viewer key

Now copy the 20190108_Viewer_ClientAuth.pkey the viewer folder

Is there any way to select different pkey files without using different viewer installation folders? It would be nice if the plugin would choose a pkey file that matched the server name or used the server name as a prefix.

Doesn't the viewer use the corresponding key with the same number ?
