Hello!
Well, I'm using the recent UVNC - 1.2.1.5 and have the problem with killing (stopping) clients on the server side (Windows 8.1): after killing/closing VNC connection/stopping service all clients are connected automatically. The only way to interrupt cleint is to ask that client close connection on their side. This is ridiculous...
I've found the related to the problem topic and tried to find w8hook.dll or vnchook.dll but nothing was found.
Could you help me please fix the problem? This is really annoying...
Thank you!

Re: Is there a way to stop client from server side??
There is a reason for this behaviour..
If the server change the desktop from default to logon or to a secure desktop like UAC, the server need to restart himself in the
correct desktop. This restart cause the viewer to disconnect.
To avoid that you need to reconnect manual, the viewer has the OPTION auto reconnect.
Default this is on.
The problem is that the viewer doesn't know who or what caused the server to disconnect.
-desktop switch, some VNCserver error that fix himself by a restart or killing the clients
You can disable this "viewer option "
