MS logon and classic logon at the same time

Post by xerces8 »

redge suggested I post this as a feature request

I tried to use the MS Logon feature, so that I can forget a password and use my windows password.
But if I enable MS Logon, the old password does not work any more.
So everyone that has access must be informed to use the new authentication method (and upgrade the viewer).
This prevents smooth transition.

Is there a way to enable both methods ? (the answer is apparently 'no' in current version, so I ask it to be implemented in the next one)

No, it's not possible now.
And I don't think it should be implemented in the future.
For a smooth transition, you can inform everybody in advance.
When you change the auth method, the users will see that they now have to provide username and password.
