Hello:
I am having an issue when I connect to a remote machine vnc server and the remote desktop appears, any mouse button clicks have no effect, e.g. I cannot open a file by double-clicking, or invoke menus by left clicking. I can move the mouse around the window with no problem.
Both the remote and local machines are running ultravnc 1.2.0.9 (june 2015 release). I checked the settings and verified that Disregard mouse actions is NOT checked. Both machines do not run ultravnc as a service.
I don't know what else to try to fix this situation....any help is greatly appreciated.

the mouse clicks get locked as soon as you open a windows that require uac.
cause:
MS uac protection
workaround:
uac elevation is needed to control elevated windows.
+start winvnc as service
or
+start winvnc with runas admin
