X86 vs X64 Performance

Post by sbostedor »

Has anyone noticed any real performance benefit for using the x64 install over the x86 install of UltraVNC?

Doesn't make a big difference, but you need it for the x64 video driver.
You can't proper share memory between X64 driver and a x86 app.

I don't use the video driver, but for me I found using a single 32bit version across all OS's was easier to implement and support. I've had zero issues with the 32bit version on 64bit OS's.
