how to force servers to appear in repeater requently

Post by kobruleht »

Ultra VNC repeater in Mode II is used and there are 7 servers running as windows service from LANs in internet.

UltraVNC Repeater Stats page will never show all 7 servers and thus in is not possible to connect to some servers.
Page shows 0 .. 5 servers . List of servers will change after some time.

Port 6002 is directed from Thomson router to Windows Vista Computer where latest repeater runs as service.

server ultravnc.ini contains

service_commandline=-id:1000 -autoreconnect -connect mysite.com:6002

It looks like maybe listening socket is broken often and server reconnects only after some time.
How to diagnose the issue and find reason ?
How to fix this so that servers can accessed every time ?
I search for autoreconnect timeout parameter but havent found this.

In other thread rudy wrote that repeater kills all connections after 5-10 minutes. I changed this timeout to 1 day in source code and in this case connections are more kept frequently. However they still disappear.
How to force VNC server to check for connection aliveness and re-connect immediately to repeater if connection is broken?
How to force repeater not to kill listening severs ?
