Cannot authenticate windows 8 64 bit

Hello,

I have ultravnc installed on a windows 7 64 bit computer and can connect with no problem to another windows 7 64 bit computer.

When I try to connect from a windows 7 64 bit computer to a windows 8 64 bit computer on port 5901, it says vnc server name (my dyndns address), port (5901) and status (Password requested). I enter the password and after a few seconds it says authentication rejected. I am using :1 after the server name for port 5901 and have also tried :5901 but neither will connect.

I am running version 1.1.9.6 on all 3 computers. I have run ultravnc on many windows xp and windows 7 computers and it has always been fine. Windows 8 appears to be a challenge.

If there are any suggestions to solve this, it will be greatly appreciated.
