how unsecure connection is without DSM plugin

Post by Far-Far-Away »

suppose ultravnc viewer and ultravnc server are making connection from small offices (office, that has only one computer), that are connected to internet with DSL.

Connection is made through a computer running repeater.

how likely is that some third part fellow can listen or see whats happening on server screen?

First of all, any traffic over this Internet is basically public.

Then suppose a tool like this http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/vnc2swf/ exists...

And a VNC scanner (Google it) or maybe Nessus...

How easy would it be then?

How long do you think it would take a cracking program to guess your 8 character password?

Let me ask you this: What happens if someone DOES monitor your connection? What do you lose? What do you give away? How much does that cost you?
