Reinvent my knowledge

Post by thorkil »

Hi

I was a happy user/admin of a small one-server UltraVNC setup back in 2006

I generated my own SingleClic .exe file and I used MSRC4 and life was good...

Now I want to reboot my use of UltraVNC on a 64bit win2008 server.
The viewers will run on the server or on some of my windows8 x64/x32 bit PC's

The users running the SC module will be on everything from winXP to Win8

Can anyone out there confirm that I will be a happy Admin again ?
Will it be possible to use UltraVNC Repeater, Viewer and SC modules in a usefull and nice way ?
Do I have to rebuild the SC .exe ?
Will it be easy to handle the MSRC4Plugin.dsm in a mixed x64/x32 environment ?

Looking forward to your reply ^^

Have a nice day

SC servers run on all platforms
You can run it on x86 or X64, ( on X64 it run in emulation mode)
If you have a older SC build, you can still used it.

Even when we have a X64 viewer, you need to run the x86 version as the plugin isn't supported on X64.
On win7 X64 you need to run the X86 vncviewer and use the plugin "MSRC4Plugin_for_sc.dsm" who is installed
with this viewer as compatible plugin with SC.
