What uvnc files do I need for server?

Post by joe avarage »

A few years back I used Single Click to create a "one-file-solution" for clients. When clients need assistance they ran pchelp.exe created ftom Single Click when instructed and I ran Ultravnc viewer on my side. This worked well.
Now I am setting this solution to "multiple-file-solution". The pchelp.exe is actually a zip file which I unzipped and now I have:

background.bmp, size 1k
helpdesk.txt, size 0.8k
logo.bmp, size 36k
msrc4plugin.dsm, size 13k
winvnc.exe, size 241k
vnchooks.dll, size 53k

Now when client need help he runs winvnc.exe and I run uvnc viewer and presto! everything works.

These files are a bit dated (from 2005). I'd like to replace them with newer version. I downloaded the new UVNC but In the newer UVNC winvnc.exe is a 2034k - almost tenfold bigger that the older file from 2005. vnchooks.dll is about the same.

what is the minimum set of files that clients need to have?
