Need multiple viewers to one SC server + repeater

Post by robplatt »

I'm using repeater v2, with a modified SC server v20.3 (244kb), and a Viewer v1.0.9.6. with rc4 and MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.

This solution has been working just fine for me, across all OS's, with UAC too. I'm very happy with the reliability and performance.

My next step is to either allow multiple winvnc.exe server instances (too much cpu usage), or better, allowing two viewers to connect to the server through the repeater.

I have searched, and searched, and searched and have not found an answer. Maybe it's simply No. But I wanted to double check.
If I try to run mulitple winvnc instances I get the Winvnc Usage window showing my connect string. If I try the -multi switch to allow multiple winvnc.exe servers, it runs but terminates almost instantly without any messages.

One forum post said you can not have two vncviewers to one server via repeater.

Is there anything I can do? even if it means having to change the source code somewhere?
