Question re "Upgrade"

Post by waynrayn »

Hi there:

I downloaded the latest stable version today, and found that it offered an option to "upgrade 1.0.8/1.0.9 but not 1.1.0 beta," which is an additional 5.2 MB. I also noticed that the mirror or "hook" driver option is no longer included in the install (I chose the upgrade).

Could someone please tell me what the new "upgrade" is? (I looked for details on the site; couldn't find any) and also why the mirror driver is not included now? Is it not necessary in this version?

Thanks very much,

Wayne

upgrade copy files to the system.
WHen file is in use ( vnc is active) it replace the file on next reboot.

Install
Replace and restart vnc server
Upgrade
replace and keeps the current server running, new version gets active after restart
