Disconnect 1 second after connect when non-admin user

using W2000 on server and viewer with RC12.

If server is logged on as non-admin rights user, viewer makes connection for split second and disconnects. If server is logged on as admin everything is fine. Long story but I cannot change version easily.

can you uninstall - then clear all registry entries that point to VNC, then reinstall.

And then reboot during your normal maintenance window.

thanks for the wisdom..

since writing this post we have discoverd that the user profile for the non-admin user has somthing to do with it. If we delete the profile and re-create a new one it works ???

any idea??

is it with the same user it didnt work with before?

Try it with other non admin users and see if it works?

If yes corrupt profile could of been problem.
