Select Repeater IP Address?

Post by pmjm »

Hello,

New user here. I'm trying to install the repeater on my colocated server, which also has web services occupying port 443 on the primary IP address. But the machine has 9 other public IP addresses that can be used. I'd like to use one of the other IPs for the repeater so it can bind to port 443.

How can I select the IP address that the repeater binds to?

Thanks!

AFAIK there is not way to do that with the Windows repeater unless you hard code it: https://forum.ultravnc.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=10353

In your case it may be necessary to run the repeater with a different server port which simply means you'll lose HTTP Proxy support.
