Hi all,
sorry if that ought to be a trivia question, but I'm stuck...
I managed to get SC.exe work as it should (great tool!) on the remote machine, but only at port 5500.
This is no problem of SC directly, but of the Viewer on my local machine: The traybar tool-tip informs me that "Ultra@VNC Viewer listening - Port:5500" (V1.0.0 RC18), but I can't find an option in the UltraVNC listener (!) where I could change the listening port to another default then 5500; in the registry, I also cannot locate the value?
TIA!

Ok this might not be the answer to your problem. Its more a question of my own. I thought SC only worked on RC20+bitbuerster wrote:Hi all,

Re: SC <-> Viewer Listening:How to change default list
Ok, I've been searching for this answer for a while and I finally found it.
Right click on the shortcut and select properties. If you look at the the "Target" line you will see "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -listen
If you add a space and your port number after "-listen it will start in the port of your wishes.
ei: "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -listen 5901 will start the VNC viewer listening on port 5901.
I'm running Win XP pro
