v1.0.0.18 settings lost after reboot?

Post by btg5679 »

Hi all,

We have some old remote machines that are using version 1.0.0.18 and we are looking to update the password and make use of encryption. We created a batch file to update the .ini file which it does successfully. The problem comes that when the registers are rebooted the settings revert back to their previous state. Is there any way to keep the settings from changing back? I know that this is a very old version that needs to be updated but we have about 120 of these machines and cannot update remotely without losing our VNC connection and then having to work with someone at that location to repair. Unless I am missing something and there is a way to upgrade without losing out connection maybe? Any info would be great, thanks.
