Host window resized

Post by Mr Wolf »

Hi to all!
I've always wondered why, when I connect to a PC with UltraVNC, its window is slightly resized, from the point of view of who is using it (not in the UltraVNC window). Is it a kind of "security feature", so that one knows someone is connected to the PC?

I don't think so; are you sure it's not just the wallpaper disappearing or the screen resolution being reduced?

Yep, the wallpaper disappears, but the resolution does not change.
The current active window (not the other ones I open) is resized very slightly at the edges. The application bar at the bottom is not touched.
Here's a screenshot taken from the computer I'm connected to:

Look at the edges of the window, and the window is maximized.
