Dual monitor problem with primary on right.

Post by supercoe »

Rudi,

Link to original discussion: https://forum.ultravnc.net/viewtopic.ph ... 12&p=89656

Problem:
When using dual monitors on Vista with the primary monitor on the right and the secondary monitor on the left the Viewer will not display correctly.

Solution:
PollForeground=1
PollFullScreen=0
EnableHook=1
PollUnderCursor=1 <- Not necessary for fixing the issue but screen updates were really bad until I turned it on.

Questions:
1) I don't have schook.dll in the server directory but the issue will remain unless this is enabled. What is EnableHook doing when schook.dll is not present?
2) I would rather use PollFullScreen as I believe it provides better screen updates, will it be possible to fix this issue so I can enable this option?

Note:
With these settings the problem will not occur on XP.
PollForeground=0
PollFullScreen=1
EnableHook=0
PollUnderCursor=0

Confirmed that 7 x64 is reacting the same as Vista.
