I'm playing with 1.0.9.6.1 on two XP Pro machines. I have WinVnc running on a machine in service mode, and I have a autoreconnect command to connect to the PERL repeater from ChunkVNC 3.2.
On the other XP Pro machine I created a few shortcuts to VNCviewer so I can try various options.
With the DSM plugin OFF on both ends, a server password enabled, I can remote in just fine. Except on the server I have Firefox 6.0.2 open to this page, and on the other machine its just an transparent frame. Really odd, if I open a second FireFox window, as it opens I get alternating bands of screen info from the first window.
Is there some tricky update config option to "fix" this? I'm using the Video hook driver 1.00.22, and a few other options enabled.
If I connect via the repeater I get the same thing. After I get it working "plain" I want to enable the DSM plugin.

It could be a Firefox video driver issue; people have had issues.

Re: Is there a trick to get Firefox windows to flesh out?
Oh, my - this is totally bizarre!
Thanks for the link. Turning on Alpha did not make a difference. IE8 works fine.
Maybe there is a plugin for FF that can control video driver choices? Or it might be a hidden (advanced) settings list.
I'll poke at that some more when I have time.

Curiouser and curiouser!
I have two Firefox Windows open. One for this site, the other for Facebook. The Facebook window SHOWS UP on the remote computer.
The window with this thread does not.
