Optimal screenpolling options

Post by Prisma »

Hello,

we are now using 1.0.9.6.1 with an inverse connection without mirror driver, because the screen-grabbing/-refresh capabilities of this version work much better than in the very very old version we used before.
First, thank you for all the good work, Rudi and the others...
But in comparison with commercial products like teamviewer I'd say we haven't found the optimal polling-settings yet. I'm sure uVNC could be optimized more... but how?

Let's assume bandwidth was not a problem, what polling settings could bring better/faster/more complete refefresh of the screen on viewer side? Who has experiences regarding this?
Here our actual settings:

Code: Select all

[poll]
TurboMode=0
PollFullScreen=1
We haven't set TurboMode, because with the older version we used it made not really a difference whether this flag was set or not. Generally, is it possible to set any conflicting flags, and which would that be?
