Viewer's Disable Sponsor Advertisement issues

Post by YY »

Found two problems on the Disable Sponsor Advertisement operation.

1. The -disablesponsor at commandline not working.

2. Other than the setting at options.vnc, the viewer still read/write disablesponsor setting from/to registry. Those codes to registry should be removed to avoid confusing.

Both 1.0.8.x & 1.0.9.x have these problems.

Correct, commandline get overwritten by default or registry.
Corrected in source

Registry was added on request, val can be set by an installer.

If one of the methods disable it, it is disabled.
default=on registry=off -> off
default=off registry=on ->off
default=on registry=on ->on
default=off registry not set -> off
default=on registry not set ->on

The commandline overwrire default and registry
