disconnected after a few sec

i have installed a distant server, a repeater + viewner on my computer.
I can connect to the repeater and see the screen of the server but after 1 sec or a few more, the viewer is closing...
i've tried yesterday on local and it was ok but now with the distant server connected on ADSL i cant use it...

any idee?

solf versions:
UltraVnc server 1.0.5 (lunch in command line to connect to the repeater)
repeater 1.1.0.4 (tested also with the last version)
vncviewer 1.0.5 (tested also with 1.0.9)

Why such old versions?

I've had the best luck with 1.0.8.0 (not 1.0.8.2) but many/most people are using the new 1.0.9.x.

i've tried to lunch 1.0.9 by command line but with no success. that's why i'm using the 1.0.5

from vncviewer, select medium or lower speed except auto

yep, i've tried all quality settings without result...

could you show your command line of your vncviewer ?
have this issue sometime over 3G where is slow answer, maybe the timeout is to short and break the initiate connection.
this also depend of the codec used at the startup of connection
did you try click on button "delete saved settings" at vncviewer ?

i lunch vncviewer by the shortcut.

i'll update the server to the 1.0.9 and install the vista display driver... maybe it will work

what the command line of shortcut used

driver won't help to fix this issue, and it also disable feature of vista/7 aero on viewer connect.

we can't check if you won't give the line of your shortcut for repeat and troubleshoot.
