I was wondering is it possible to loose separate programs(vncviewer, chunkvnc, etc) and port them to web...
That would be awsome. Just open up page, generate on-line ID and voila.
Other side would open on-line page, enter the ID...you know.

Even if you started the program online (say with java) you'd still need to run the UltraVNC Viewer and Server which are Windows programs.

I've seen some products start the VNC server with Java and Activex.

I guess I don't see the benefit of starting it online other than the ability to detect the OS version.

I prefer having a prebuilt Windows executable, this way you don't have to rely on someone having a plugin in their browser just to start InstantSupport. Much less headache between browser configurations this way.
